Lure this past Saturday was as usual, just a good a** time! If you don’t know bout it, it’s a once a month event that caters to the 25 & up crowd. The grown and sexy looking for a nice, chic spot to party (how ever you so choose, whether its drinking, dancing, socializing, or all the above) this is your event.
Anytime you head to the club and don’t have to wait in line without paying v.i.p. prices, is good start to any night if you ask me. The atmosphere early in the night is a bit chill, people still coming in, getting that first drink, then doing a walk thru, seeing who’s in the spot. …but not for long! As Dj Vader warms up the crowd, tonic fills up & the place becomes alive. Fellas stepped in the spot looking dapper with jeans and nice button downs, others take that extra step by putting on a nice blazer or jacket. No V-neck tees and gym shoes up in here! (except maybe polo lol) As far as the ladies, there were more sexy dresses than anything which was a little surprising to me, but much abliged by the men I’m sure. “The” color of the night (for the ladies) seemed to be black, luckily I got that memo lol. Vader kept the party going with a happy mixture, rap, r&b, reggae, and of course the line dance music. Chris was all over throughout the night handling biz, being a good host. One thing I may suggest to a first-time goer is to have a cocktail or a shot or 2 soon before. The drink prices compared to what you get, doesn’t add up… I’m just saying.

Alright, well you already know how Big Don MJ Ent gets down and you know how Dream Team Ent gets down. Now Every Friday the two atmospheres’ are combined. Crazy right!? Last Friday was definitely crazy. The building was completely packed. The place was filled from wall to wall. A person would have to suck in their gut to get around the party. It was mixture of new faces and the same faces. But whether it was the same faces or new faces everyone had fun. You could tell who the birthday people were; creating space to really party was not a factor. I had to find my space (Dominique Zone) on the wall. And no, I was definitely not holding up the wall. The Untouchable DJ’s and DJ Thru da Roof held down the party by giving the crowd exactly what they wanted. So Friday night you had the best dressed people in the building going hard and clearly not having a care in the world. I know that’s why I love to party.
